What...the...f***!?! The Silver Lining has been slapped with yet another Cease & Desist letter. I should have known that it would NEVER come to light. This project played with everyone's heartstrings one too many times! Moving forward, I don't know that I can trust a fan project again (certainly not one based on a Sierra IP). I still don't understand this Cease & Desist bulls***. It's a f****** non-profit project. What do these morons at Activision stand to lose? Well, I say, "f*** you, Activision!"

It's been awhile since I took part in a good old fashioned boycott, but then again, I can't even remember the last Activision game that I purchased.

And... they're back again, folks. It looks like the first chapter will be released on July 10th, with the remaining chapters following later this year. I just hope that this is for real this time.

Even though it was short, I was surprised with the overall quality of the first episode. I guess that it is a case of quality over quantity, and being that it is a fan-made game being released on a freeware license, expectations shouldn't be that high to begin with. My only real problem was with some of the voices. I didn't care much for the Narrator, or some of the Castle of the Crown characters, but thankfully, King Graham's voice was spot on. He was the real standout character, and that's definitely a good thing (being that he's with you throughout the whole game).

Hopefully, though, the later episodes are a bit more interactive (unless they're going for a new hands-free approach, but that may work better in a Leisure Suit Larry game).
