Well, it seems that another year has passed us by. As unbelievable as it may sound, Space Ruckus: The Great Invasion has been in development for three years now. Over the course of that time, we have put together a great deal of material, including 3D models, banners, concept art, level designs, music compositions, plot scripts, posters, programming code/documentation, videos, voice work, web stuff, and a slew of other things. Of course, we have had our fair share of setbacks. We have lost a few people along the way, but have always been fortunate enough to have other people waiting in the wings to take their places. We are closer than ever to release, but as always, we could certainly use more talent on our team. We have a contact form just for that. More game details will be revealed soon, we promise.

It certainly has been a rough first three years for the project, but I'm glad that we are holding together in hopes of seeing it through to completion. The Development Team has certainly seen quite a few face changes throughout the project; however, we still have a small handful of charter developers with us that manage to keep the project held together and on the right track. Most importantly, large credit goes to Mike's great passion for Space Ruckus, and inability to let it slip away, which has been there since the beginning to constantly keep the project fresh in our minds when we tend to wonder off to do other things.

I hope that the future for the project is a little more fast-paced than it has been in the past, and I'm sure we can accomplish this if each of us would devote just a small amount of more time. One thing that I'd ask that we all do, is spent some more time with each other on the forum or in chat. If you have any project-related (or off-topic) thoughts or ideas, no matter how small, please share them with all of us. From a public stand-point, the project seems to be at a dead stand-still, which is why we need to spend more time on the forum, to let everyone know that the project and community is indeed still in full motion.

There are many things going on in the background, and Mike is constantly revising and creating things that he shares with me on a weekly basis. I'd suggest to all the developers that you take a fresh look at the Development Center, as I'm sure there is new progress hidden within that most of you aren't even aware exists.

With that said, happy (late) 3rd anniversary to Space Ruckus, and the Development Team! Looking forward to many more... err... lets just get this project done already!

Wow, three years,,, that's a long time. We're all still together too, mostly.

I'm in San Diego now, the big move is over and I've got a hell of a lot of free time on my hands, Once I get a scanner I'll upload some more concepts.

Another thing, there's other roles I could take on in the project, such as assistant programming, storyline development, etc. Not only cause I'm bored, but cause I'm the first to admit that I suck at art :)
